What is A Ceramic Coating?
A ceramic coating, often referred to as nano-ceramic, is a liquid polymer that bonds to the exterior paint, glass, trim, plastic and rims. Creating a unseeable protective layer on top able to with stand fallout, bird droppings, bugs, tree sap and has hydrophobic properties that repel water. All of these bonuses make cleaning your car super easy! Oh and did I mention this coating last for years.
Who are Ceramic Coating for?
The perfect candidate for getting a ceramic coating is typically someone who values the long-term protection and aesthetic enhancement of their vehicle and is willing to invest in a professional-grade solution. So all in all if your looking to add value to your vehical and keep it for a while of even upsell your vehical when its time for a new one this is one of the best services to have done to your vehical.
What Are The Benefits of a Coating?
benefits of ceramic coatings include:
Paint Protection: Ceramic coatings create a strong, durable, and hydrophobic layer on the vehicle's paint surface. This layer acts as a sacrificial barrier, shielding the paint from contaminants such as dirt, bird droppings, tree sap, bugs, and road salt.
Enhanced Durability: The chemical bond formed by ceramic coatings is resistant to environmental contaminants and harsh weather conditions. This results in a longer-lasting protection compared to traditional wax or sealant applications.
Water and Dirt Repellency: The hydrophobic nature of ceramic coatings means that water and dirt are less likely to adhere to the surface. This makes the vehicle easier to clean and maintain.
UV Protection: Ceramic coatings provide a level of protection against the damaging effects of ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun, helping to prevent oxidation and fading of the paint over time.
Chemical Resistance: The coating offers resistance to various chemicals, including acidic or alkaline substances, which can harm the paint if not promptly removed.
Enhanced Gloss and Appearance: Ceramic coatings enhance the visual appeal of a vehicle by providing a deep, glossy finish. The coating magnifies the paint's color, giving it a vibrant and polished appearance.
Ease of Cleaning: Due to the hydrophobic and anti-adhesive properties, contaminants are less likely to stick to the coated surface. This makes routine cleaning more straightforward and less time-consuming.
It's important to note that while ceramic coatings offer significant benefits, they are not a one-time permanent solution. The effectiveness of the coating can diminish over time, and periodic maintenance and reapplication may be required for optimal performance. Professional application is recommended for ensuring proper bonding and coverage.
Why Do Ceramic Coating Cost More?
Applying a ceramic coating involves several steps, and it's a meticulous process that requires attention to detail. When a vehiacl is getting a coating a few factors play a role into how long the process will take. One of the first things that go into consideration is the year of the vehical. a newer car will require less prep and correction in best case senario; but even new car that come off the factor line are far from perfect and will have to at least get a paint correction. Once all the important factor have been checked off then it is time to move on to the preperation,Below are the steps.
Wash & Decon

Dry vehical
Start the paint correction process, process could take a 1 step, 2 step or even a 3 step correction. This is the buffing and polishing of the entire vehical top to bottom and this alone can take a day or two getting the paint to a perferct or near perfect finish depending on the year and how well the vehical was mantianed.
next is the coating process, throwing on layers one panel at a time and allowing to cure.
the final step is to double check and make sure there are now high spots in the coating and everything is 100%.
